West Boca High Car Show Will Raise Funds For School Activities

On Jan. 13, 2007, the West Boca High School will organize a car show to raise funds for school activities. There will be six categories of competition, door prizes, food, fun for the kids (bounce house, dunk tank, spin art). Money raised by the event will go to support the student newspaper (The Westside Story), as well as the Boca Promise student club, and the Martial Arts Club.
The car show is open to the public and students from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Cars will be shown by private owners. The categories for the competition are:
· Best All Around Truck
· Best Paint
· Best Sound System
· Best Interior
· Best All Around Car
· Best Classic.
Students involved are the staff of the student newspaper (Westside Story), and the Boca Promise student club. The Martial Arts Club students will be handling concessions.
Show registration is $10 on-site. Spectators will pay $5. Kids 12 and under get in free.
Six free promotional tickets are available in the Public Affairs Office to the first six callers. Please, call (561) 963-3820.
