coming from an S2000 we have had a little over 50 thefts in the last few months because of ebayers stealing our seats and then also gutting our cars and our cars become totalled and our insurance drops us/etc.

im looking to move my wheel ***** ness into a g35coupe but first before buying one i wanted to make sure im not getting myself into the same boat.. i WAS looking at cayman's but their getting the headlight thefts now like whoa just like the old 996's

live your life and whateve happens happens. just get full insurance. or move.

i heard about some g35 rims getting stolen but i dont know how frequent they are now.

 

rims i dont care.. im authorized work wheel dealer so ill have aftermarket w/ locks..

but anything else such as seats or an epidemic?

it would be orlando/tampa/daytona..

the headlights are stolen alot, especially in s FL....and there have been a few carjackings. But not many are just stolen off the street.

 

yeah headlights are only thing thats really targeted, but thats a problem with every car with HIDs: maximas, G35, S2000, TL, etc.

if ur that worried, get an aftermarket alarm and be done...some insurances will lower ur rate if you have one too

 

Lights & Wheels. Thats about it.

 

yeah i heard about the lights, because of growing some plants is much easier with HID
