Same here. I work for the Sarasota Herald Tribune. Our other SGC member (as Foo_G so nicely labeled us ) also works down at the end of Main St. When we meet for lunch it's usually around 12:30. So far we've only been to Tropical Thai, Sports Page, Il Panificio and Two Senioritas. Any other suggestions are welcome.

 

That is club member Richsrq/Rich Van Dillen (xxxrichsrq@comcast.netxxx - remove the x's). He hang out allot with Mike from Zenclosures (our sponsor and maker of custom subwoofer enclosures for our car) and the 350zclub of Florida (Sarasota to Tampa based 350z club - bunch of great guys). You should get in contact with him and get a few meets going with the 350zclub of florida as well.

 

Yeah, I met Mike a few weeks ago when I went over there to pick up some speaker spacers. He mentioned that he knew Rich (whom I've only seen on the road driving around) and of an upcomming Z event. Thanks for the heads up though Demonteverde

 

Ha. Small world. I work right next door to you (SunTrust). I hadn't noticed your car parked there... I don't know of any places to eat since I usually don't eat lunch, but we'll get together sometime nonetheless when I'm down there.

I heard back from Alan from invicaman. He said there is no advantage to getting multiple cars done at once. He said it takes 4 to 5 hours per car. He did not answer my question about the additional proce to travel to Sarasota, but for St. Petersburg, he said the travel cost would be $50...I would assume its about the same distance-wise to Sarasota from Orlando...

 

1 way from Orl to Sar is 150 miles if he is willing to drive that far for 50 bux i say hurry up and book him already

 

i got a response from allan as well about coming down south to boca to install my 3M kit, he said it would be $275 total!? i was told $200 or so but i guess the extra 75 bucks for travel is resonable...

 

Yeah the $200 or so would be his labor charge and the $75 is for the travel...You have to purchase the kit too which would be another $300 or so..
