I have been happy with JR Electronics on Bird Road. As long as you give them good direction and plan out where you want everything first they do a pretty good job.

Did they replace your head-unit? Changing them in these cars is a NIGHTMARE!!

I know for a fact that JR Electronics has worked with many G35s. One of the guys that works at JR has a G35. They recently got delivery of the Double Din kit for both 2003-2004 and 2005-2006. If you plan to go that route, I recommend you buy the Pioneer AVIC Z-1 online. Noone local can beat the online price of $1,399.99. After you buy the head unit just go in and get the rest there plus the install. If you decide to go there just PM me and I'll give you a contact there. I've been going there since before I could even drive...LOL

I did the Navi conversion on mine with the DVD player/tv tuner/reverse cam and Ipod adapter. It takes some time but is something you can do yourself, if you up for it. There is tons of info here on the forums on how to do it, and I can help you out if you have any questions. Does your car have the NAVI or are you using a new head unit with navi? To take the center console out to put the head unit will probably take 30min-1 hour, I haven't done an 06 but I bet is pretty much the same as an 04. Do you already have a enclosure for the sub? What sub and amp are you going to run?

the best way to do it is to buy everything yourself, it will be cheaper that way.

then take it to one of these places mentioned above.

it took my car to Rhodes, they are in hollywood. they did great work for a pretty decent price

well it's a lease, and I'm probably not going to keep it. I would rather not swap out the HU, I'd rather add a Nav. system and mod it to play DVD's. That's all I really want it for. As far as sub's and amp: amp not sure? subs 2-10inch Kicker solo's. I have seen a few enclosures for them on this site that I like. My favorite are the ones that kind of integrate into the wheel wells in the trunk. Open to suggestion's and tips.

yeah think your talking bout the 4080 box, it a great box.

then get a 10w6 or something similar. if you're only gonna go w/ one speaker make sure its powerful enough

IMO if its a lease it would be easier to swap out the HU, that way the OEM HU stays untouched, then when its time to give the car back you can swap out everything yourself

did my tints there. They quoted me $1000 for a navi system installed. They are definatley on my list of possibilities.

Did you do a whole system install? If so how much did it cost you, if you don't mind me asking?

good point. How hard would it be for the AC panel to be re-soldered?
