so a friend of mine shows up at the shop in his 05 sti with a boost controler, full exhust and a BOV. He wants to run me so i take the turnpike near my store and we run three times from a roll 40mph. By 120mph i had almost 3 to 3 1/2 cars on him all three times. So we head back to the store and he is bragging about his friend in a 300is that has a swap. Hell yeah a twin turbo supra engine with a frount mount and full exhaust and also a boost running 20psi tuned i dont know more details (i dont know much about supras so i guess he said 20psi and i am sure they can do 20psi). So i said well if he wants i will race him tonight. So he calls his buddy and his buddy say's "VQ, yes i will race him. I dont care what he has. I will still beat him" . So i was like ok lets meet. So we meet on I4 arround 8.40pm and he shows up all cool and $hit. SO my friend Mel asks him " what do you have under the hood" and he repilies "an engine, a real one." So than he goes let me see what the VQ engine looks like ......all this with attitude. Well we go on I4 and we take it from a roll of 40mph and now (I just got my VB Upgrade so i am shifting so fast and hard that its unbelievable). I had almost a car and a half by the time i hit 110mph. So he thinks that he ****aed up. So he wants to try aain and we went like four times and I had him all four times. When we park at the next exit all he had to say " Damn those VQ are fast if you do them right" I was like ok I will see you later coz i have family waiting at home for dinner and I bounced. After I left, my friend with the sti was telling me how much respect the guy in the is300 supra swap had for the 350z. ALso the Sti guy has all this on tape and he said he wil youtube it by Monday after he gets some kind of USB cable from some where.
This was a fun Friday !!!!!!!
