Rims, silver on gold? y or n
IMO, gold doesn't look good on BS and DG coupes. I'd stick to the silver or gunmetal. I have a DG coupe and my SF Challenge are coming in tomorrow. I chose the Mercury Silver b/c the DG is already dark and I wanted my wheels to contrast with the rest of the car. But I think gold would look like $hit on my car.
Gold is a classic racing color and the sdmsl2's remind me of the BBS GT2's on the Porsche race cars.

Here's a pic of gold on silver.. gold is very tricky because the wrong rim can totally ruin or cheapen the look of the car. I'd be on the safe side and go with gunmetal or brushed - much cleaner look.

The gold rims on the silver Porsche aren't bad, but I think it's because of the style of the rims, the lines of the car and how they are broken up, along with the gaping air intake holes in the front. I agree that you have to be selective when putting gold rims on a silver car.
Yeah, not bad, but is that what you are going for with a car like that? Not bad? All the cars above look okay but they would look sooo much nicer with gun metal, flat siver, or even black wheels. Again, just my opinion.

...should be about 6-8 weeks until they get them here, since they are made to order. But I have to decide if I want to get 18's or 20's because I want a stepped lip. 19's only come with a reverse lip...
