2. Yes, the are goverened by the FDA (radar is FCC) and considered legal. Whether or not they work is up in the air.

 

Actually, LASER jammers are legal in Florida (I have the Escort ZR7 and it works great).

It is the RADAR jammer that is illegal in Florida and is governed by the FCC.

Yeah but his question was about LASER not RADAR.

 

Maybe not in Central, but here in South Florida I see alot of laser from Miami north to Palm Beach and west to Tampa along I-75.

Also, laser is now much more affordable and is in vogue over radar detectors according to several recent articles. My little suburb of Miami just bought 6 lasers for the police and we're only 6 square miles in size!
