Decided to have her lowered

So after some research online and help from Dan, I decided to have my g lowered. Yesterday I took it to rz motoring and had 350z h-techs put on, and I think it looks great. It dropped it exactly how much I was looking for, and I can't tell any difference in ride quality. I must say though... It does make me want new rims. Anyways, it's about time for me to get new tires, so I'll have it aligned in a week or so when I get them.

Here are some pics from this morning... I don't think they are very good, so I'll probably take more later.

It looks good. New wheels would make her look even better.

looks really good!!! .....i see you have the 18's and little fender/wheel gap, i have the oem 19's and getting same springs do you think the drop will line up my fender with the tires so theres no gap?, i just dont want gap or tucking

probably not. remember you will have thinner tires with your 19s so the overall wheel height will be the same. therefore you'll see the same gap that he has.

as for the z vs g springs, i believe the z springs have slightly higher rates.

Notice the camber in the first picture, along with the stains on the cement from my 10 inchers, compared to the OEM 8 inchers. Big difference! I can especially tell the difference when I went to the track Wednesday night. Let's talk about how when I shifted from 1st-2nd, the tires spun like I was burning out!

I'm not sure exactly how much they dropped the car... although i would expect just less than an inch all around. I think the biggest difference between the 350z h-techs and the g35 h-techs is that the 350z h-techs drop the car an additional .5" and are very close to the oem spring rate.

Ryan why are your stockers back on?... and yes I really want rims now, but I dont see that happening in the near furture.

edit: oh are those new tires I see?

So... what rims should I get for my car? I love HRE's but I think they are too expensive... any suggestions?
