Question Status of DrRabbitFurHead

Anyone know the status of or heard from Neff/FurHead? I just tried to PM him to check in and see how he is doing. Both his screen names are locked out of getting PMs.

Tony,

I remember that you purchased a passenger side door lock cover for the driver's side of your G. Did you ever put it on? How did it turn out?

I've thought about doing it, but I'm always afraid that my key fob batteries will die the day after I exchange them and then I will be screwed.

ps: Nice to see you back again. I haven't seen you post in a while.

i did this mod and also had the auto lock module installed so once when i went to the dealer for an oil change they locked the keys in there. it wasnt too hard to get the cover off. it looks very clean when the cover is on, i like it.

Yeah, Chuck put it on for me and it turned out great. Even if the FOB dies, you can just pop the cover off with your key using some fabic to protect the paint.

Just been hanging out reading.

Thanks sattman and Tony.

I think I still have the different part numbers for the different color lock covers. I'm going to order one. It shouldn't be too hard to put on.

No it's really easy. You shouldn't have any problems.

Thanks, Chuck!

I'm going up by Lokey this Saturday... I think I'll order one, unless they have them in stock.

I need to get a lock cover too.

BTW, someone split this lock cover topic from this thread.

I can do that.

I figured the original thread topic was done, but it's probably a good call to let this subject line die.
