The MOTUL Engine Clean is additive where you add to old engine oil prior to changing to new oil. Run idle for 20-25 minutes. And will clean all the deposits, and sludge. While oil is drained to be replaced by new ones.
Motul engine clean will not only clean piston bay, but also other small breather points inside your engine.
A normal oilchange when drained will leave deposits. Later to contaminate new oil.
Now when all the impurities are drained with old oil. To run your oil fresh, new, and for longer life. Reduce oil and gas consumption.

Yes you add whole bottle. The content is 10.1 fl. oz., whole bottle added before oil change. Run the engine with MOTUL engine clean in idle for 15-20 minutes. Drain all oil. Change filters and fill with new clean engine oil.
