I thought the shields were weak from the pics I've seen. Stillen Gen 2 look very good but oiled filters ect. I'm glad I found the R2C, can't wait to get installed, probably tomorrow. Is everybody else going to disconnect their battery?

ya you talking about the gas pedal way of resetting ECU, I'm going to try that too. Just wanted to make sure that nothing electrical can get messed up by having battery connected during install....

just dont start the car without connecting the sensors properly and there should be no problems... and i was talking about the gas pedal thing, it really sounds like a cheat code from a Nintendo

Install?

Anybody install this on a 2009 yet? I tried today, spend 1 1/2 hours and had to put stock back on because I ran out of time. Having serious fitment issues with the small hose that hooks up to the R2C tube. The angle does not allow you to hook the think up correctly?

Yup, I installed mine yesterday, and had similar issues. Its sure seems like that inlet tube on the main intake could have been positioned better. I was able to get the hoses on though. The hose on the left of the engine (as you look at it from the front) I had to re-route to come at it a little lower. I was able to get it on firmly though, with no kinks in the hose.

I'll try that, that is where I got stuck, won't fit on worth a crap the way it is so I'll have to try the re route, instructions suck big time.

Glad you had no problems, I'm going to re attack tomorrow when I have more time but the inlet tube was not fitting correctly onto the intake at all, no matter how I tried to make it.
