I settled on getting the Motordyne Shockwave exhaust. Now I'm looking to find a shop to install and tune my 2010 G37x coupe. Any recommendations on tuner shops in New Jersey? Preferably near 07764 area code.
I doubt you will get the burble sound you are looking for with a tune. The stock cats will muffle the sound too much.
You may be right but it's worth a shot, since I want to tune for some performance anyways. I was originally planning on getting high flow cats but I was told they create a very raspy exhaust note.
Any suggestions on high flow cats that don't have too much rasp or drone? May do it down the line if I cant get the pops and burbles I'm looking for.

There are high-flow cats with resonators. Fast Intentions sells a RHFC configuration. Pretty sure there's at least one or two other manufacturers who do the same.
But that's the ticket you want to open and deepen the exhaust up front... resonated high flow catalytic converters.
Or ditch the cats and OEM shorties entirely for a pair of long-tube headers.
ARK makes a set of high-flow cats with Helmholtz resonators. Matched up with your Shockwave cat-back, that would be all kind of fun. Although I'm remembering there might have been a clearance issue with your AWD Coupe. Anyway, go research that.

Thanks for the info! Will definitely look into that.
Will cats like that pass inspection? Or throw check engine light?
