Since you seem to know about the Triggaspec one, what is your opinion on getting his upper/lower/TBs for $1250 shipped on NA? Along with 3" intakes with velocity stacks.
I haven't seen their port work but have seen good rviews from those who have bought it.

I'm pretty much running those mods at the moment (once i get my engine in)
I made a video on two ported manifolds I had and compared how port work can differ

Everyone's results will vary, but my stock injectors were hitting 95-96% duty cycle when I had 2.75" intakes with custom bellmouth pipe + filters, ported stock TBs, ported upper + lower manifold, RHFC's and CBE, tuned by Eugene with Ecutek software. So I went ahead and upgraded to GTR injectors and they're running somewhere around 60-65% duty cycle now.

Since you’re already tuned by Moncef. Maybe asking him what his opinions are. He recently tuned a car with those TB.

HAHAHA yes!
I read that post yesterday and thought: "Well I need to edit my post to disregard every single thing I said"

Seems like more air still equals more power. The man does indeed push these engines to see crazy things regardless of how close to threshold they are. I guess the rest relies solely on the driver/owner.

Honda is already into Nitro mixes which with the current path we will see by 2022-2023. It also seems like the TB upgrade also solely rely on who the tuner is.
This world has also taught me that switches to bigger/advanced injectors not only benefit from lower driver duty cycle which keeps fuel temps at the same temp as it came in but also more efficient spray patterns. I've heard great things from those 1050x injectors.

If you pay attention these numbers are over average to what we have seen usually except for cams and M5. I've seen a similar setup without cams and most average around 350. With exotic fuels and better exhaust lift and duration it no longer is a bottle neck.

On another note, I fear these accomplishments in the VHR world will make the prices of engines skyrocket. They still over power the HR and practically one of the top contenders in the DOHC V6 world.

I had a suspicion that these VQ motors can take all the air and fuel you throw at it and convert them into more power

It's crazy how after all this time it seems like just now these advancements are being made.

My theory is that it's a tiered market. First phase of the product appeals to a certain crowd (business workers, professionals, etc) and then the second phase of the car (bought used) appeals to people like us who like to modify the car and want performance out of it. So the products being introduced for the cars are TIMED.

That's one thing I like about Nissan/Infiniti over Toyota/Lexus is that they try to appeal to us car modders

Dont let the numbers fool you, a lot of these numbers you see are max for some but dont realistically run it for "reliability" purposes.

I think as the time passes more and more folks get more comfortable with higher VVEL angles and more exotic fuels.
