I just blew my engine a couple weeks ago and wanted to see if anyone knows what engines are compatible with the 2008 or if it is a stand alone model my mechanic told me all vhr rwd are compatible so does that mean I can buy a 2011 370z vhr and install with no extra work/labor?

 

Yes and no.

ALL VHRs are the same.
AWD VHRs will need a rwd upper oil pan (can use your old one)

370z VHRs have an oil cooler/warmer that will need to be removed and replaced with a non cooler/warmer stud
