Last night I had just dropped a buddy off in my 2008 g37 journey coupe with the 5at transmission. As I was leaving his house my transmission jerked as I gave it gas and every shift up and down leaving the neighborhood was very rough. I drove home 10 mins away and it was regularly shifting very violently, especially in the lower gears. I also noticed the engine was not revving normally and was struggling to maintain power. Once I got up to speed it drove somewhat normal but the shifts were still hard in the lower gears more noticeable. There are no CEL or any other lights on my dash besides the TPMS light due to my after market wheels. It seems like a transmission issue but I’m not sure Bc it happened out of now where with no other obvious signs of transmission malfunction. Anyone had this issue or have any suggestions on what it could be?
