‘08 G37 5AT with spontaneous hard shifting

Hey guys. First time posting but wanted some opinions. Just my g37 a few weeks ago and it’s been great. Today I was going under a tunnel and dropped it into manual mode. Third gear, floored it and was hoping to enjoy that sweet, sweet sound. Instead, the throttle cut out after about half a second in, and all the shifts afterward either in manual or drive were *very* harsh. Talking full car shake when it did it. Drove half a mile to a parking lot, shut it off and checked under for any leaks from the transmission. All seemed fine.

Started her back up and suddenly the car was completely fine. No hard shifts in any mode. Has anyone else heard of this or had it happen to them? I come from manuals so automatics are exactly my area of expertise. I’m going to baby it for awhile but just don’t understand why it would shift so damn hard, then after restarting it, it’s fine again.

Try changing the fluid with BG transmission fluid. When I would drive hard after my car had a few miles on it the fluid would overheat and the trans would bang and shift hard like that also.
