Sudden lock up at WOT

So a few days after getting my hfc’s installed, I did a wot pull. Revved all the way through second, then just after shifting into 3rd the car suddenly seemed to lock up and jerked me forward. I got off the gas and it ran fine. No loss of power, no lights, no new noises. Car still runs phenomenally. As soon as I could I pulled over, shut the car off, let it sit, and started it back up. No issues. Got to a light and it got a bit jerky as it came to a stop. Then it dropped in rpm like it wanted to stall. Very quickly, a split second drop, but it did it twice. My first thought was that my engine possibly locked up, but it had full oil, and it purrs like it’s brand new. Still full power, smooth acceleration. I’ve since noticed that after some spirited driving (not full throttle) the strange jerkiness coming to a stop and the rpm drops will happen between 1-3 times. I did a WOT pull today from 2-3 to try and recreate the occurrence again, but everything went fine. (The original incident was about 3 weeks ago). Wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Also there are 0 issues with casual driving. One of our local car gurus thinks the car is running lean from from my mods. I did replace the faulty fuel pulsation damper last night and the car is running even better than it was then. So I’m partially thinking it could have been a fueling issue?

it’s not. It’s actually getting tuned next Wednesday. I figured the mix between the cats intake exhaust and intake manifold that it may just be running too lean up top.
