Hello. I'm new here. Question for all present. Is the automatic transmission in the infiniti G25 the same as the infiniti G37?? Also, how do I convert awd into rear wheel drive ?? Both cars are 2011. Thanks for your prompt response.

 

bump..any word on this? Wondering if its just the bell housing can be swapped? Or the whole transmission

Maybe start with the problem you are trying to solve? You have a G25 and the transmission has failed (as determined by a qualified mechanic)? You need to replace it and all you can find are 7ATs that came out of G37s since there were so few G25s sold? I have been around these cars for years and this is the first time I've seen the questions asked, so I'm not sure if any of us have first hand knowledge.

I believe there is a fuse you can pull to disable the front diff on an AWD, although I'm not sure why one would want to pay more for an AWD then disable the feature. To each his own I guess.
