Power loss after galley gasket fix
Power loss after galley gasket fix
I just got my car back after a galley gasket repair. The mechanic also changed all the timing parts, the chains, guides, tensioner, as well as the water pump, thermostat and crank sprocket. The next day after picking up i drove the car and the SES Light came back on and the code read p0524 which is low oil pressure. I reset the code and hasn’t come back for about 60 miles or so but the car doesn’t pull as hard as it should sometimes. When I press the gas sometimes it pulls how it should but other times it just doesn’t wanna push. I could hear the motor rev and have excessive vibration, the rpms slowly increase too but the car just hesitates to pull. Any thoughts why it’s doing this??
I also believe it’s the timing :/. But if the timing was off wouldn’t the car hesitate to pull even when it’s cold? It only seems to lose power after it reaches operating temp. I’m gonna take it back to the shop this week. Will keep you posted
