Just bought a 2010 g37 coupe it has 99k miles and some change . I 've read mixed opinions about what oil to use ....some swear by mobil 1 5w-30 .some say it's the worst ....some say that the mobil 1 0W-30 is a better option to try ...and some say ..that the best oil for performance is the Nissan Ester 5W-30 ...so you guys help me out? Whats the "best "oil for a g37 creeping up on a 100ok miles for performance and longevity? I really want to pamper my g and take of it how it should be ...lol thanks in advance guys !

 

Mobil 1 0w40. I've had great results with it. Check my IG, jpowers36, for my Blackstone Lab Oil Analysis report. I have 135k miles FYI. Been using it for the past 40K+ miles.

 

Just follow the maintenance schedule in the owner's manual and use any name brand synthetic 5W30 and your engine will live forever.
