Question Stillen Supercharger Long Term Satisfaction/Reliability?

Hey guys,

I got my 2009 G37s earlier this year and it's at about 68k now. Motor still runs great but I'm considering a Stillen Supercharger. Mainly looking to just bolt right up to a stock motor and daily it. No plans to track it at all.

Questions:
1. How reliable is the car long term? Anyone with 100k+ on the motor?
2. Are cooling upgrades necessary if I use minimal boost?
3. Was it worth it? Any regrets?

Thanks

If you're automatic you need to worry about keeping torque low or you'll need to beef up the transmission.

Internals are well documented to support over 500rwhp, no need to build it. Do an oil pressure test and leak down as well to make sure everything is good there. I'd recommend additional cooling such as the Z1 oil cooler kit, even a spacer to add some additional oil capacity.

I’ve tuned a lot of these kits and logged many miles of seat time. Every single one I’ve done is still driving on the road reliably , passing smog, on the original engines, here in California. Send me a message if you want to have a phone call to discuss details and I can answer any specific questions more effectively.
