Help! 2009 G37x performance issue
Hello, about a year ago I purchased the car with 84k miles on it. A few moths back the car was have issues starting, like it was stalling and every other week going into limp mode and had no codes. I cleaned the throttle bodies, replaced spark plugs, and replaced maf sensors. the car did not have and start up issues or limp mode. The car doe now have issues that it feels like sometimes im driving a civic and then randomly im driving 328 hp g37 again. The power loss is very intermittent and hard to explain to others. Sometimes when i press on the gas it slowly climbs rpms with the pedal all the way down and not accelerate any faster. It also seems to bod down when I take turns and cannot accelerate fast. It has almost got me in accidents a few times. any ideas?

When flooring it sometimes if you’re in the wrong gear yes it does not pick up quick, have had these moments my self. Also the turning are you having a issue where when you slow down take a turn and press the gas their is delay, then the tranny and engine engages and goes and sometimes jerks a little bit? If so I too have that issue and it’s annoying.

By law, the only time the CEL is turned on is when the ECU has estimated a failure that results in 1.4x the emission standards,
or if some engine condition might damage the catalytic converter.
Since there is no check engine light, in this case, I would rule out it being an engine issue.
I suspect there is something going on in the transmission.
If you have and OBD scanner, OBD Fusion (with $15 enhanced diagnostic add-on)
will be able to scan all the modules on the car's network, including the transmission control module (TCM)
This video give an overview, but doesn't show the TCM module as the car has a 6 speed manual transmission:

Sonic... I brought it to the shop that my friend has a $5000 scanner and we scanned all modules including transmission. NOTHING came up. 30 mins ago i was driving and went into limp mode once again with not a single code.

Just had a conversation with the dealer and they said it would be a waste of money for me to bring the car in because they would not find anything either just like my local mechanic.

My next step would be to data log a few things while driving and try to figure out what is going on.
I would start with MAF, throttle body, fuel trims, then on the trans input & output shaft speed, gear, etc.
Good luck!
