I took the car to carmax and they reported that the "waterneck" had totally cracked and they did a complete repair of it. I pick it up in a few days. I'll drive the heck out of it and see what happens. If coolant continues to be an issue then I'll take it back and ask them to check more extensively.

unfortunate update

I wanted to update everyone.

The car continues to lose coolant. My expansion tank was bone dry the other day. Lucky I checked it. I topped it off, called Carmax and they set an appointment for me to drop it off tomorrow. Before I let them do any work, I am going to find out what my options are as far as taking it to an Infiniti dealer and have their own "WORK WARRANTY" transfer over. My gut just gets a bad feeling taking it back for a 4th time and it still not being fixed.

I was hoping to get your alls input on where the coolant might be going. There are a few tiny dried up drops around the top hose and water neck. But nothing major. The serp belt and pullys are all dry. Nothing on the under carriage tray.
I hope it's nothing major like a head gasket.

Check oil cap for milky residue as well as dipstik. Also check the waterpump weep hole.
