G37 TB Green Inside

So in the process of cleaning my TBs and replacing spark plugs. Why is one side green inside?

thats really weird. looks like spray paint...was it a replacement part after an accident or from a used parts car?

I think it's a thin resin coating to protect the metal, like anodizing.
