Need your opinions on 6 speed

So my trans is starting to grind even more than it had been so I'm looking to replace it. I found someone parting a 370z with 28k, i can get that transmission for $700. My other option is lkq with 85k for $1000 with 12/12 warranty. So basically would you rather have a low mileage trans with no warranty or a higher mileage trans with warranty? I'm worried that even if i do feel some grinding it might not be enough to have it replaced under warranty, plus 12k miles comes up pretty quick. But the dealership would order it themselves so i wouldnt have to worry about getting it to them, which would be nice. But a cheaper trans with less miles seems like the smart move. What do you guys think?

You will still want to out in new clutch throw out bearing and flywheel since it's out. Also change trans fluid. Just piece of mind and if you planned on doing look lighter flywheel now is the time to do it. For trans fluid I like motul
