Clutch loses pressure overnight

Man, I just can't catch a break with this car. Recently when I've started my car in the morning, the clutch is very loose towards the top. At the halfway point of pressing the clutch in, it becomes stiff again. So I have to use this small window of engagement to switch gears until about 15 mins into the drive, where the clutch builds pressure and becomes stiff throughout. At this point the clutch becomes stiffer and less gradual than usual, making it hard to change gears smoothly.

The clutch fluid level has not moved and the fluid is only a bit darker than when it was first put in (January 2018). The car has always had a tad softer clutch upon startup, but not to this degree. It's been happening the past few weeks which has been hotter than satan's taint (90-95), so I wonder if that affects it. Has anyone had similar issues?

First, bleed the clutch. This sounds like the classic air in the line sysmptom.

Sounds to me like your concentric slave cylinder is going bad. The same thing happened to me until I got stuck in a parking lot. It would lose pressure while it sat.

I'm hoping it's not my slave cylinder. The reason I'm not sure is that the loss in pressure is inconsistent. After creating this post I have yet to experience it again. Did the loss in pressure come and go for you as well?

Mine has been doing the same thing. Looses pressure in the morning, I found that after starting it up.....a few pumps of the clutch usually brought it firm again. No fluid loss until today, filled it up and more fluid already went missing. Slave will be replaced soon before major failure, I suggest you do the same

i am having the same problem. this also happens when i get ready for a racing launch and then my clutch pedal will be at the floor when i go to shift into 2nd gear. i have to acutally pull the pedal up with my hand otherwise it is stuck in gear. Has anyone diagnosed this issue? i have about 120K miles on an 09 G37 sport sedan. I am looking at new clutches now since the stock cant hold a launch over 4K rpm. Would take advice on new clutch kits as well. all i have is the R2C intake (which is awesome btw) and i would be upgrading to a Cat back exhaust so im not going over 400hp.

David check your reservoir, if you are loosing fluid and see no signs of it then your slave is probably shot. If your fluid is good then the master might be going out. I ordered the zspeed ez street package which comes with a HD slave too. Got a new master at the same time just because. They also sell a kit from south bend that is similar but a little cheaper.
