Hi everyone.
I just bought a G37 Journey so no VLSD. I've been researching LSD options for it and wanted to make sure I understand this right.
1) If I take an LSD carrier from another G37 automatic, it's a bolt-in swap.
2) If I want to use a carrier from a manual G37, I have to change the flange or get my driveshaft modified to a manual flange.
3) 370z carriers also fit.
4) I read you need a different output shaft on one side if you use a manual VLSD on a car that was originally open differential. What I don't understand is if I have the output shafts from the manual carrier do I need to find a different output shaft or is it bolt in at this point?
Thanks
