Hey guys ,

i am an owner of a 2011 g37 with almost 95k miles i have the car now for 3 months , i have some transmission flares when changing from 4th gear into 5th gear and some rough shifts from 1st to 2nd to 3rd gear and , from 5th to 6th and 7th changes are smooth can't even feel the transmission shifting ,

so should i change the transmission fluid to Matic S since the previous owner said he changed the fluid before but with some other brand not the Nissan recommended fluid ,

some other question my ac doesn't work so should i replace only the AC COMPRESSOR or should i change the whole ac system ?Many thanks

 

If the fluid is Matic S compatible your AT should work well, quite a few of us have used Valvoline Max life Matic S spec, did mine 30k miles ago and is performing well.

If previous owner used a fluid that wasn't Matic S spec or didn't do the drain & fill as per the FSB then there surely could be issues.

I'd check w/ the dealer to see if your AT has the most up to date reflashes, and if you believe the ATF isn't spec or have doubts about the procedure he used, I would get it done again.

 

AC might just need a recharge...

 

The problem is we don't have an infinti /nissan dealers in Libya so a reflash isn't available i think i ll change the fluid and have a grounding kit installed .
