Trans Fluid Cocktail?

Anyone have an opinion on the nissan manual trans fluid vs motul. Or a cocktail of a light weight shock absorbsing fluid with the nissan or motul. Thanks

Both are expensive. Pick one or use anything else that meets the spec. Skip the cocktails.

I'm currently using RedLine, and before that, Subaru Extra S. I can't tell the difference between the two synthetics, but both seem smoother than the OE fill.

I'd skip a cocktail, personally, and just go with a quality synthetic that meets OE spec.

Don't forget new washers for the drain/fill plugs

Redline MT-85 is a cocktail specially blended for our transmission. The 370Z guys used blend Redline MTL and MT-90 (50:50). Now we don't have to. The added benefit is it's a GL-4 oil that won't eat up our synchros.

I agree... I followed one users suggestion for a cocktail and ended up screwing my syncros in 6th. Stick to a high end fluid. i am presently running Motul.
