Throttle problem

Hello all. I bought a used 2009 G37 and after driving it 3 weeks got check engine light on and car does not accelerate above 2300 RPM. Took it to a mechanic and and found these codes:
1. Cam shaft sensor
2. Engine oil pressure low
3. Gas misfire
Installed brand new cam shaft sensor and drove it a day and check engine light came back and now next step is to flush the engine put 5W-20 full synthetic oil from Mobil One.
Its a big problem when entering speedway from complete stop because it takes a while for the car to accelerate since I can rev the engine above 2300 RPM.
Did anyone had same issue? This is my first Infiniti and having a terrible start. Please advise

Thank you in advance

well worst case scenario is the dreaded timing cover galley gasket. it may be losing oil through there and causing your low engine oil pressure which then affects cam timing of the vvel sys.

Limp mode will keep your car under 2300 RPM so it doesn't further damage itself. Hopefully it's not the timing cover gasket issue which is a common problem for our years, 2007-2013. It's a costly and lengthy repair which replaces a paper gasket with an updated metal one. There's many threads dealing with it on this forum and most estimate the repair to be around $1500-3000. I really hope you didn't get screwed by someone passing this car to you...

Yeah that sounds like a timing cover gasket. Which really sucks if you only had the car for 3 weeks. It's like a $3000 repair.

I had the same issue when they replaced my water pump and it turned out to be the Crankshaft sensor.
