So besides a grounding kit, does anyone know another way to upgrade the transmission? I've heard of GammaMotors Transmisison rebuild and upgraded transmission. Is that the only way? Its pretty expensive.

Level 10 in Jew Jersey seems to be the go to for the 7AT build. Prices aren't out of this world either.

I had 7 stick cars and I don't miss it. Granted I have a motorcycle to scratch that itch, but I think the 7AT could be good with upgrades. The car is fast enough that it almost doesn't matter.

Exactly. People this is a luxury sedan...wth did you expect when you bought it? I happy I even have a VLSD and paddle shifters in the first place! And any mods I'm doing is to the suspension...I've got more than enough power for the roads I live on.

 

I like the power, I hate the 7AT. I wanted new but I wasn't willing to wait 3 months to order a 6MT. I use manual mode almost exclusively but the shifts still suck. Been trying to get info from Level10 about the valve body upgrade and what it does.

 

You can increase pressures via UpRev tune. Additonally there are some tranny upgrades from the dealer. I had the pressures increased when i brought the car to UpRev to have them tune and it made a world of difference. Very fast shifts now..

 

yea, I've been looking into lvl10 and as far as I can tell, this is the upgrade to go with for trans.

 

I got EcuTek tune, not sure which is better. Got 284 whp = 342 hp.
