Help needed

The car is a 2010 g37 journey, stock, 100k km.
Once the car is warmed up and than parked, it won't rev pass 2200rpn.
I also got "service engine engine soon" with p0011 and p0524.
I cleared the codes, and and starred it again. It's fine now.

Ok, i kind of knew what it would be. It's the rear timing chain gasket. Is there a step by step how to document somewhere? I can't seem to find one

I'm not afraid of work, but that looks very discouraging.

Btw, I'm probably 4 months out of power train warranty, at 99k kms which is within warranty terms. What are the chances Infiniti would show good will and cover the cost?

Chances are slim, but at this point sure wouldn't hurt to ask. Sorry to hear of your troubles, I'm not feeling great about it myself, feels like I'm driving a ticking time bomb

One would assume it's been remedied by now, keep a close look at that thread I linked, if the failure is occurring w/ that new improved gasket then it's really a flawed setup, or maybe the improved paper/metal gaskets weren't introduced until much later than we thought???? Hopefully that failure on the 2013 is something else, but it's not looking that way thus far.

Damn it, I was looking into making a trade for a 2014 Q50S...I may start leaning towards other trade-in options: A4 S-line or TLX.
I suppose the Q50 is way to new to judge if they are also affected by this problem.

Diagnosis is in and my 2013 is in the shop right now with a blown gasket. So, I suspect it's not as fixed as we are lead to believe or the redesigned gaskets were implemented later than we thought
