Transfer case rear seal
Has anyone ever changed the rear output shafts seal? I am trying to remove the output shafts yoke off the transfer case to change the seal but can not remove the nut that holds the yoke on. I am wondering if this is left hand thread or if it has red locktite on it so I am considering the torch as my last option. I am bending my long breaker bar and my 450 foot pound impact isn't working at 120psi.
I am also a very experienced mechanic and not afraid to pUT some heat to it.
Thanks guys

We have had this car for a month. I am going through the car fixing all the little issues so they don't become bigger. I am so far replacing the front upper and lower control arms, and tie rod ends. Replaced all fluids except the transfer case (will change after seal) with Schaeffer lubricants and am about to change the plugs next week.
Just looked in the service manual on another site and found that it is called a locking nut but doesn't specify if it is mechanic or chemical lock. If I don't get a response soon I will be heating the shaft nut to remove.
