Did they charge you to do the reprogramming? And was your car still under warranty at the time?

NO charge since it's under warranty still , 2013 g37x, but it's an issue TSB... Dealers can't charge for recalls I don't think...?

When I got mine flashed it appears I got ITB12-027d. Does that make sense? This was May '15. Has there been a newer flash released since?

Thats what I got done last October to get flashed, car has been progressively more numb, although the 2-3 and 3-4 upshifts are better. I paid $125 since TSBs are not recalls.

I have the same issue as well with my 7AT coupe. At first I thought it was my tranny slipping till I did some research and found out how common it is with our cars. I pay it no mind now.

Will it hurt the transmission if I don't do anything about it? Pretty annoying honestly but so is driving 2 hours to the closest dealership to get it fixed and playing the deductible on my limited powertrain warranty.

Now sure how much something like this would cost to get fixed anyways if it was outside of warranty.

I'm probably going to contact the dealership anyways to see if they can tell me how much it would cost.

Just got my tranny fluid changed last week as I'm over 100k KM (~60k miles) and this problem still exists. Still got 2+ more years on my extended dealer warranty so I'll continue to ignore it. Really wish we had more info on this issue though since I might be keeping this car long term.

Try using the DS mode, not to manual shift but to just operate in DS mode for automatic shifts. It will change pattern and shift firmness somewhat. It helped the feel of my shifts, its all I use now.

Afaik it was a complete flush. That's what I asked and paid the dealer for. I did all fluids. Tranny, diffs, oil, brakes, etc.
