I will actually and also it's going back to the dealer tomorrow morning, I really wish I can get to the bottom of this I'll update as soon as I stop having the issue

Dealer is going after the head gaskets. It's so shocking at 50k miles I don't know what to believe the car runs perfect and no cel lights. They are not sure if it is tho so I don't even know if they should even check I guess they will have the car for a couple of days

I assume they checked compression and leakdown before going after head gaskets? Could also send the oil off for oil analysis and it should come back showing coolant in there if it is the head gasket.

Just talked to them they have done a compression test and they decided it needed to be done, they have already started the process. I never heard of this issue on these cars

That's a pretty strong upgrade, and should be a fresh warranty on the motor too, nice remedy

Same issue

The outcome of this issue sucks. I am having the same issue. Changed the Thermostat but still having the same problem i.e., At idle, the temp goes up with or without A/C on.

Well to update problem is occurring even after the engine replacement I'm so done with this car, it's back at the dealer since yesterday. I'm confused and aggravated that it's been 5 times and it still occurring even after they just replaced my fans a well. I don't even know if new engines come with new water pumps

Geeze, how long are you idling for w/ the a/c on? Did they change the thermostat again?
