Friends,
I have an 08 G35 sedan. I have been getting intermittent P0455 codes. Gas cap has been replaced with OEM. Now I am want to try and replace the evap canister purge volume contrl solenoid and some other components.
Does anyone know of a HOW TO anywhere, with some good photos?

P0455 - EVAP control system gross leak detected
I would first look at the EVAP canister vent control valve. This valve is normally open to allow the canister to take in fresh air. It is only closed to test the integrity of the EVAP system.
It is located on the charcoal canister. Remove it and apply 12 volts to it and see if clicks and controls air flow. Spend some time looking at EC-965 in the factory shop manual.
Please don't throw parts at this problem. It expensive to replace parts hoping it will fix the problem. Understand how the system should work and troubleshoot it.
