Question Hesitation Upon Accelerating

Guys Ive been experiencing an issue where my car seems to be a bit hesitant upon acceleration when on a slight uphill in like 5th or 6th gear. Never had this issue before, though it was my intake filters since they are getting a bit dirt. I purchased the K&N recharge kit and cleaned the filters but the hesitation is still there. Do I have to clean my MAF sensor or my TB? Thanks!

If you get too liberal with the K&N oil, it can foul up the MAF sensor.

I'm not a fan of K&N filters, but I've known people to use a shop vac and duct tape it to the exit of the filter to get any excess oil out before install.

Try spraying the sensors with a ****MAF**** cleaner spray (not a carb or throttle body cleaner).

The instructions say to oil up the filter really well, but I was very cautious and applied all in just one pass. I left them overnight to dry plus they were not heavily saturated as you would think. I'll try to clean the MAF, something like this never happened with my previous coupes and my sedan. I originally purchased this when I had my 2012 sedan, used this intake on my sedan for 3 years and now on my coupe.

I would say clean your throttle body's and maf sensors next and that may be fix your issue.
