easiest way to clean Stillen long tube cai filters.

I have been searching for days, and cant find what Im trying to figure out. I have a 2010 g37xS with the gen 3 cold air intake. I am trying to take the filters out without dismantling my front end, haha. I have all the plastic top off, and can c the filters but cant get them out because they are bolted onto the deflector. some say take the front end off, others say dont have to. Can anybody point me in the right course of action? I am at my wits end, and need to be on the road. Any knowledge, video, or step by step with pics would b great if any are out there. Thanks again, Chances.

Removed the upper plastic radiator cover, unclip the wire harness from it( Hardest part LOL) with needle nose pillars then removed the (5) 8mm nuts that hold the grill on pop the grill off and remove the filters. should take you about 10 mins to remove everything

Fantastic, thats what mine looks like minus the grill popped out. I cant thank you enough for the quick answer now out to do it. I do notice the pre filter covers you have. Great idea. I swear i was in heavy rain for about 6 hours, and my filters must have gotten wet because it would go into limp mode with 2 hours left. I took off slower than damn semi's because it would cut power over 2k rpm...

are the bottom 2 very hard to get at, ie. not visible from looking down? I have the top 3 off, but when I press in tabs, it does not budge. I found what i think is the bottom bold, but i cant access it enough.

Use you fingers to find them , then just put the socket on them, you should be using a 1/4 drive. you know the small one, you wont need to see them. Granted I've done this like 15 times but the first time is wasn't too hard. there in the bottom corners,
