Hypertech question

I have search this out and cannot find a definitive answer. I am not looking for an increase in power. I am not expecting that.

Will the Hypertech truly allow me to make the trans shift firmer and raise the rev and speed limiter???

car is stock.....

Maybe if you add high flow cats to that and a tune then it will be nice or maybe with a catback and cold air intake it'll be worth it with a tune! Just thinking no more mods needed
