is it safe to redline in every gear? g37

This isnt something i do, but im trying to use this manual mode on my automatic 2012 g37 journey and i got some questions.

i notice when on DS mode or even D and i put the pedal to the floor some gears make it to redline but some dont.

so my question is, which gears is it okay to almost hit redline when in manual? i notice when i do it in 1st or 2nd it just feels wrongs, is it okay to do it in these gears?

but on 3rd and 4th it feels good to almost redline, it feels like how it normally does when i just punch it in DS mode.

another question, i have never done donuts in my life and in a safe place i want to try it, from what someone told me i want to do it in manual mode to better control everything, correct? if so, when i punch it in 1st gear and its almost at redline, is it safe to stay in that gear as im doing donuts? or should i switch it to second gear mid donut?

There's a rev limiter for it not to put the engine in harm, it's okay to drive these cars to redline nothing will occur.

I see redline multiple times when I drive. No issues. Granted I have had the car since July/August, but on my g35, I beat the hell out of that motor and she just kept asking for more.

@Chukie311, I see you're tuned through EcuTek. Did they keep the factory rev limit or did they raise it?

I raised the rev limit by 200 rpm...if I'm going to do cams I'm going with a Nismo oil pump to raise the redline to 8200rpm

but I have been looking at the stoker kit lately going to talk to my tuner about it.. if I'm going to drop the engine might as well build it!!

Sorry for being off topic. I noticed you have the ARK with the Berk HFC. Is their hiss / rasp? I'm looking for the *deep* tone exhaust and I've been reading ARK paired with some type of HFC / RHFC (berk, FI) will accomplish that compared to say other exhaust combos. I mean, it wont be as deep sounding as a GTHAUS, but is the Ark paired with the berk sound deep?

From: Framingham Ma,
They all have some rasp, just not as loud as others.

I red-line the car once a day also. LOL
