Not sure if this was recently covered but I recently attempted to take my radiator cover off so I could replace my grille. After I get it half way off I notice that there is this metal wire(I think) running from the radiator and it's connected to the cover somehow. Anyone know how to take it off? I drive a 08 journey.

 

You might want to post a picture so we know what you are talking about. My guess is its the outside temperature sensor.

 

I just worked around it. Just turned the cover to get my hand behind the grille.

 

I remember there being a wire of some sort but don't remember it being metal. Was it the one that was held on by white clips? If so the clips open up pretty easily.
