Help Anyone dealt/deals/heard of Boosted-Performance??
So, I'm looking to boost my 6mt sedan... My options were a TT kit from fi... (Realize my cad vs usd is not very strong...and shipping will kill), then I looked into stillen super chargers... I'm honestly not very confident about how this went down with a few members...
Then I came accross Boosted Performance, it's an Edmonton (Canada yey!) based company... And prices are decent, Facebook page looks decent as well. I haven't really reach out to them directly but made a post on a 350z forum showing my interest...however I haven't heard of this guys till yesterday when I made a post on Facebook and a random guy told me about them.
*Does anyone know anything about boosted performance (Edmonton based) ?
Thanks!

go check out the 370z forums rather than the 350z forums. BP makes a great single turbo kit at a good price. if you are very mechanically inclined you can probably even do the install yourself in a garage/backyard, as a few others have.
500+whp turn key kits for ~$7k is a nice bang for your buck. my only dislike is the turbo placement but no one really seems to run into issues.

The bp kit is what I'm working towards to get for my g37 coupe. Jwick on here and on the370.com was the first to install the kit. It's only for 6mt cars though. The precision turbo 6266 sits above the sub frame... pretty much where the cats hang. It's the cheapest kit that makes same amount of power as a twin. And the best part is you don't have to drop the engine and transmission! Big save on labor cost! Can be done in your back yard like a real DIYer. Since you're in Canada, it sounds like a no brainer.

Yes. I run the kit currently and Pong is correct I was the first to take the plunge and in stall it on a G37. Most of what is posted here is correct. It's only for 6MT and RWD. I've worked under the hood and underside of a sedan and I'm pretty confident the kit will fit a 6MT sedan. You would have to get the OEM flange connection assuming you have the OEM exhaust or pay a local shop to custom fab the downpipe to mate to your exhaust. Sasha, the owner, will work with you to get you exactly what you need. I know several people have had the downpipe shipped with the v-band flange unwelded so you could take it to a shop and have the last part custom fit.
Check out my build thread it has a lot of information.

Great post, do you mind explaining what's the meaning of "twin scroll", for a second a though "TT", but is not the same thing...right?

To be honest... That should be pinned lol. Great and simple way to understand.
Thanks!
Then would it make sense to have a twin turbo twinned scrolled??? This just sounds silly, I know.

I didn't read that article but basically a twin scroll eliminates exhaust scavenging which is when exhaust gasses from other cylinders interfere with each other at the collector. Having a divided housing like on a twin scroll manifold eliminates the interference and all the exhaust gas is used to spin the turbine and none is wasted fighting other cylinders.
The turbo Sasha has chosen to power his kit is phenomenal in my opinion. My boost threshold is under 2,500rpms and turbo lag is 2-300rpms. It's very responsive and the torque comes on like a freight train.
The major problem I have is traction. Only so much power a 275 will put down

Ball Bearing Turbo FTW

Imagine me who got in the 4.08 gears still... Ima say a prayer for my Nittos...

I don't think I'll get the ball bearing upgtade... I have snow for 5 months... No traction if the ride is boosted(at least I think). Unless of course I have a very conservative tune. I like the idea of little lag though, that's just because of the twin scroll that's very neat.
