Ugh another failed Slave Cylender
Telcoman
No factory warranty, all state's aftermarket warranty.
The issues is, the clutch had debris from the hose go through the clutch fluid system, causing the CSC to fail. The dealer says they need to flush the system, replace the mc, CSC, and tube (whatever that is). If they ask the warranty company to repair all of this, the company will send an inspector out. The warranty company see that they only need to replace the failed part (CSC). The dealer, and any members, said you need to replace the mc as well, sort of a preventative maintenance.

I see. If I remember correctly, there's only two rubber hoses in the system, that's from the reservoir to the MC, the other is a small section by the trans/csc.
So depending which hose they're claiming failed (I'd love to know how they made this diagnosis), most of it should be covered under warranty. If they don't want to cover the MC/labor, fine, pay for it out of pocket. But they should cover everything else.
It clearly states in the FSM to never reuse the CSC or CSC tube (page 17 of cl.pdf for the 2012 sedan).
At 50K miles, it would probably be a good idea to replace the clutch anyways as you're getting free labor for 90% of the job. Pulling the pressure plate and clutch disk is minimal labor once the trans is off the engine. Also, depending on the length of your extended warranty, maybe even go with the heavy duty CSC as well.
Edit: I've never heard of a rubber hose failing like this. The clutch system is not that high pressure. If they determined this by black particles present in the reservoir, that's primary clutch disk wear particles. As I understand it, they contaminate the fluid at the CSC end and make their way through the system to end up in the reservoir. An important reason to flush the clutch line periodically (2 years?).

Agree 100% with everything you said. I assume they found particles in the fluid and assume it's the hose. I just got the HD CSC from zspeed in last night and running it to the dealer now.
So the warranty is paying for the mc and labor and I am having to pay for the HD CSC (obviously because aftermarket), and I think labor. I'm not happy about it, but I know with clutches warranty companies are already iffy.

Good call on the HD CSC. Did you choose to get a new clutch/flywheel as well? I had my Slave cylinder go out awhile ago and went with Southbend Stage 1 clutch and flywheel. I decided that since they were already in the trans i should have them get it done (i would highly recommend to save yourself some money in the future).
My car only had 2800.... Needed a new Slave, new CSC and according to my dash cam, a new Clutch.
Work order mentions nothing about a new clutch however. But the tech says, I put one in and it rides pretty smooth after he test drove it.
