Wasn't close at all. The front tube is smack dab on the mount. No work around, unless I wanna take the mount out LOL

From: Framingham Ma,
An to make things worse the car had an exhaust leak, They burned a small hole in the divers cat :/, I was lucky he was still there when I picked the car up as there were closed. He pulled the car in and fixed it but now the car wont drive P303 as soon as I started the car and code wouldn't clear, I limped home and had it towed to my dealer. I wanna say they burned one or both of the 02's in the cats, he told me they heated the nuts to remove them :/.. This is what I get for installing something I said I wouldn't, at least they discounted the labor to $450..

Good GREIF!

Damn. Maybe I should rethink my install and use that money towards BBK or audio upgrade.

Has anyone had this issue with the Z1 headers for the AWD sedan. Cause headers and tune was going to be my last upgrade but from research for the AWD sedan I should scratch headers from my list

I dont think anyone has done this yet. I think I was the first to try them. All the research I did was RWD . The only sedan I know running this is chuckie and he's a RWD sedan

ANMVQ remember this thread I'm not sure if you read though all the post but when he put his headers on the driver side they had to shave the driver side motor mount for them to fit..

Quote"Overall I'm very happy with everything although the header installation was a nightmare 3 bolts broke in the head, both o2 sensors where frozen, and to top it all off it didn't fit past the drivers side motor mount! Luckily my mechanic isn't really a ordinary mechanic he was a car builder in Indiana that did Rb swaps on Silvias and Gs so he took a half inch off the side of the motor mount hitting the header and smoothed it out and added extra support to the back of the mount. -1 for Z1 saying there's not fitment issues.

From: Framingham Ma,
SO!
The issue I was having with the P0300 and I saw another code but forgot it but my car needed an ECU( Warranty) replaced it. I'm not sure what happened at the shop I went to but how did I need an ECU after a failed header install ?

Hmmm...I assume you replaced your 02 sensors right? ECU replaced? Man that sucks. I hope you find the issue and get it resolved quickly and cheaply. Have a Merry Christmas.

From: Framingham Ma,
Both one 02 and the ECU , ug
Yea we found a bunch of burn holes in the cats ( places that was doing the install ) have hit the cats with the torch . Both cat gaskets and no good ( Z1 metal ones) under a year old. I ordered the gaskets for Saturday so hope this is cleared up the beginning or next week. I passed on the top speed ones, they wouldn't send me a pic of inside the collector ?

Merry Christmas to you too!
