FD Gearing / AWD Controller G37X

GEARING
Are there any options for the AWD models as for final drive gear?

I ran into someone saying you could, others saying no.

I'm guessing it's a no... but since the AWD system doesn't engage until the rear wheels are spinning (something like) 5% faster than the front wouldn't it see all 4 wheels moving the same speed if the speed sensors are located at the wheels? (are they?)

Some different gearing in the 7AT would make for a much better performing car.

I'm sort of confused about the AWD system engagement since when it's a little damp out I have fun tossing it around corners and such. It will drift easily and the front ever seems to engage (don't see the AWD light but the trac light comes on even with trac control off). I don't notice any sudden understeer that I would assume I'd notice if the front kicked in all of a sudden.

Is there something that tells it not to engage if you're sliding sideways as not to cause over correction?

AWD CONTROLLERS

Is there any aftermarket controllers for the G37x? Audi has halex controllers that allow you to change modules giving more to the rear or a more 50/50 split.

Can it be reprogramed to engage at a different percentage?

From: Framingham Ma,
Nope, Ive been down this road before, You can either buy a set off gear out of a stock 370Z (3.70) or read diff from a 08 G35X sedan( 3.69) and then buy a new gear set from a 08-G35X for the front diff and have it rebuilt. But you can't just swap the front diff, I was told you'd have to pull the motor( The front drive shaft goes through the bottom of the motor) and to go from 3.36 to 3.70 for like kinda $$$ is just not cost effective for performance IMO. I have a thread on everything I found on here already, Sux'd

If we could do 3.90's then maybe it would be worth it.

Our car now runs like a 90/10 split( 90% RWD) till like 180 MPH then the Tcase shuts off unless the tires slip. then goes 100% RWD again till any slip is detected.

There are no lights to tell you the AWD kicked in. If you see the AWD light there is an issue with the AWD system. The slip like will blink meaning the power is being moved. But no AWD indicator. ECU uses the wheel speed senors for slip
