Another catch can thread

None of the others seemed to have gone anywhere (years old, not much info etc.).

So, I know some of you are running some catch cans. I've been thinking of this for awhile, as my car just passed 52k miles. Looks like I'll be holding onto it for awhile, and every little bit will help.

So, what have those with catch cans gone with? Assuming 2 are needed, unless there's a single one with all the fittings? Limited in knowledge about this, so go easy on me.

Arc catch can/coolant reservoir. Best one out. There's a chart out somewhere on here as to which hoses to tap into with the stock intake manifold. It's different if you have the m370 uim.

I wish ARC would mass produce a little and lower cost. I'd spend some $$$ but the price is ridiculous.

These were pretty inexpensive.2 NRG cans. Only downside was I had to cut a small portion of the cover

is that where you hook them up? i though it was the little things that go into the intake tubes before the throttle bodies..

ok found this in another thread..

However, the installation is actually different on my car. On my G35 HR, there is a vacuum port (for PCV) that goes from the passenger side valve cover and connects to another port in the back of the plastic plenum.

For the VHR, you actually have two PCV vacuum ports, one on each valve cover, and each port is connected to another port at the front of the plastic plenum.

VHR

For the VHR, you'll need to modify your catch can so that it has two ports for each, or you can get an ARC oil catch can/coolant reservoir combo tank that already has dual ports for the VHR.
so how to prevent oil getting into the throttle bodies?

also will most likely be using a compress air filter/separator instead of a Catch Can around the same cost if not way less and way more effective.

for e.g
McMaster-Carr
