And, I also need to see if I can get some replacement intake pipes from Takeda so I can have these redone. Thanks for the review and it looks like a nice quality part. Is red the only color it comes in?
Matt,
I've got plenty of intake room, if you check on the first post there's some pretty good pics from Tanabe showing the clearance better than I did. Should be OK w/ your Takedas. And red is the only option.

Thanks for the info Brad! I'll go back and check the first post. I can probably live with red for the great price they're offering on that.

Shortened the bar via the threaded ends and now it's laying flatter w/ what seems to be no contact now

Did you install the strut bar with all wheels on the ground or did you do it in the air?

Sooooo.... installed mine this morning and it seems no matter how short I set the bar, there's tons of space above the engine cover. Doesn't seem to be rubbing hood liner and I'm not all that concerned about it - just saying is all. I'll take some pics later

That's strange, mine still has about a 1/4" of thread on both sides to further shorten it and it's just resting on the engine cover. Look forward to pics of your setup.

Turns out it's not as much space as I initially thought it was. It doesn't touch the engine cover and I still doubt I could shorten anymore and still attach the bar.
