Question ATF, need to add fluid

I have a 2011 G37x Sedan. I bought it used, it now has almost 55K. The ATF is low and needs some added. It says right on the ATF cap to use Dexron. I have Dexron IV fluid is it ok to add this?

If not what do you use, brand and type? Synthetic?

I assume you're talking about the fluid tank for the power steering pump, this does take Dexron ATF. The actual transmission is sealed, or at least not intended to be filled and serviced like transmissions w/ a dipstick.

Correct. I got confused sorry. Mixed up my cars. This would be the power steering on the G37x
