Fastest was 104.98 I blame that on the gears. Like I said though a harder launch and a tune would probably give me time to stretch out. Dunno if you understand log files but here's a screen shot of my 0-60 log near the end . On the right side you'll see the speed and the two rows show left and right bank wideband afr's. These are near shift point.

I can't understand that lol.
Still want to see the times and trap speeds after being tuned.

Also, what wheels and tires are you running?

19x9, 19 x 10 STR 607. 245 , 285 Hankook Ventus. I'm gonna snag a rear 18 x 10 and a set of 285/35 18 Nitto drag radials.

12.8 is where I want to be for the afr's but it's lean in the mid 13's.

You should try with the 18" wheel, especially if it is lightweight.

Those wheels are heavier than stock, but the tires bring it down for a total of 2lbs saved, so the wheels are not the problem, but 18's would help a lot. The coupe however, will look a lot less luxurious with 18's

Just get 2 light and cheap wheels for the rear with sticky tires just for the track. You will easily get down to the 12s without a tune.

I was expecting more.....13.4's isn't that bad considering no tune.
Those handkooks also are terrible track tires. I had a set on the SRT8 & my Acura CLS & traction on the track sucked.

If you listen to that little burnout I did. Then listen to the launch you'll see that I spun the whole first gear. We'll see after the tune. Next up 18's and if that fails. 3.91 gears.

I'm optimistic that the 18's with good track tires will be enough. Won't the 3.91 cause even more spin?

Finally had time to put up the slips. 1st slip was my shifter catastrophy. I know now to stay away from it on launch. Had I got that right I think I would've been where I wanted to be. I'm left lane #62. First three runs vs. a Boss 302 having problems and the last run is the STI from the video.

nice numbers dude. Torque converter, slicks and a tune and I think you'll be where you want to be. A tune is important. The TC may be more beneficial than 3.916 gears. 13.414 is a good number with just bolt on's. good job.

Tune just came in. I'll re flash the ecu tonight, do a fuel reset and drive it a few days before I log. Shooting for 12.8 afr's again.

Good work. My first time at a track with ANY combination is always a bit of a disappointment. However, we pay attention to what's needed, and regroup.

That you went and posted true results is testimony of your diligence. (Unlike the '800 hp' Infiniti poser somewhere here.... )

18" drag radials minimum. Beyond that, get a torque converter.

Nice.

Thanks Coop, running with the tune now for the 2nd day I can say I really do feel a little mid range difference. Still haven't logged anything yet to allow the ecu to adapt but I'm hoping it settles in on the fuel target of 12.8 . Once I get that settled , I'll do the "Burnout Mod" I used on my Titan to allow me to launch without pulling timing and fuel. I believe I'm just going to go from the brake pedal but on my Titan I did it from the ECM module and that allowed me to keep the brake lights. I'm thinking a higher launch rpm and 20psi on street tires with no burnout at all ( First run I had a 1.9? 60ft with 45psi but I didn't spin the tires at all ) If I can bring all this together I'll be that much closer. After getting those few runs in I'll work on a set of NT555R's in 18 plus some wheels. If that takes me to a 12.8 or better I'll do the converter and set myself up to be the quickest N/A G Coupe.
