Yesterday I went out to my car. Pushed the clutch in to start it and it went to the floor. Good bye slave cylinder. I have an appointment today in which I get to try to get them to fix it for free. Ive also had problems with my 5th gear grinding when its cold (most likly a syncro). The game will be getting them to focus on my syncro and not the slave cylinder. Ive heard mixed stories on if they replace the slave for free under the drivetrain. The other issue means a new transmission for free. wish me luck

In all honesty, the dealer should end up replacing the entire transmission, which will include your slave cylinder.

 

They should but I have taken the car in twice before for the 5th gear issue and nothing yet. I may have to take it higher this time which I really dont want to do. I expect to pay fair money for fair work and thats ok. I also expect them to stand by their product. If they do a new transmission i might still pay extra for the z speed slave clylinder upgrade along with a southbend clutch kit.

 

I find it strange that it made southbend a hyper link and it goes to a clutch upgrade to the v8 car....... the southbend i want is the stage 3 with silent disc capable of 550hp.

If you are still under warranty and have been keeping up with the vehicles maintenance you will be fine. I have tons of mods done to my car and they still replaced my tranny bc I too was having 5th gear issues...The dealership even extended my tranny warranty bc of it.
